Hockey for Hospice Tournament

House League teams from the WMHA have taken part in the Annual Hospice Tournament in past years.  All proceeds go to support The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County Inc. – the funds raised go to support our Hospice community (Windsor & Essex County).  The Hockey For Hospice also provides an opportunity for House League teams to participate in tournament style play, which otherwise they may not have an opportunity to do.

NHL Draft

The Windsor Minor Hockey Association would like to congratulate WMHA grad Dalton Prout on being selected in the 6th round, 154 overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets.  The WMHA would also like to congratulate Windsor Spitfires: Taylor Hall, Cam Fowler, Jack Campbell, Justin Shugg & Philipp Grubauer on being drafted into the NHL.

2010~11 Registration Rates

The Windsor Minor Hockey Association has done it again!  In a effort to keep the cost of Minor Hockey affordable, the WMHA has slashed registration rates for the upcoming season by $25.00 across the board.  With the HST taking effect and with rising ice costs, the WMHA sharpened their pencils and conducted an extensive line-by-line budget analysis and determined there were some areas where money could be saved.  Those cost-cutting savings were passed along by way of reducing Registration costs.  The registration costs for the upcoming season are as follows:
