PLAYER EVALUATIONS Bantam players go on the ice Saturday September 6th, Midget and Midget Major players go on the ice Saturday September 13th. If a player has not been called by the Friday just before their division is to start to then call Ken Strong or Chris Banwell.

I would like to welcome all new and returning WMHA players and parents to the 2008/2009 hockey season.

Please be patient as we are very busy putting everything together for the startup section of the season.  I will be holding a coaches meeting September 2nd and at that time the coaches will get the call list and schedule for the Bantam Division.  Midget Major & Minor schedule will soon follow.

I am putting together an orientation program; mandatory for all parents, for the divisions of house major so that all questions the parents might have dealing with the WMHA program can be answered. I will also be including a short video covering proper conduct of players, coaches and parents. Conduct of everyone is an ongoing battle and we all must be diligent in demanding a high level of proper conduct in each of us.

We are busy working on getting the OMHA to approve the 2 referee, 1 linesman system in the Midget Divisions.  This has been harder to get done than we first thought.  I will not stop working on this as I know it will make for a better game for the players that are here truly to just play hockey.

This year each of the Divisions have a director to help the VPs’ make things run smooth.  Chris Banwell is the Director for the Divisions in House Major, his information can be found on www.wmha.net

Bantam Tier 1 - Knox Arena, late Sunday morning

Bantam Tier 2 - South Windsor “B” late Saturday morning

Midget Minor Tier 1 - Monday nights start at Adstoll and will end at the WFCU centre, main bowl.  One half-season at both.

Midget Minor Tier 2 - Wednesday night at Windsor Arena

Midget Major (Juvenile) - Wednesday night, South Windsor “B”
