Applications for Travel Coaches |
The WMHA is accepting applications for candidates interested in the position of Head Coach for AA & AE Travel Teams in the Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget Divisions for the 2012-2013 season. All interested candidates must fully complete the Application for Adult Participation and submit it to Al Iatonna, Vice President of Travel. The deadline for application submissions is, Saturday, March 3rd.
Starting the New Year means the Playdowns are just around the corner. The teams are progressing well going into the Playdowns. Most teams will play a Tournament style format with others playing a best of 3 format. It is definitely an exciting time of the year, I am hoping that all the teams go far in the Playdowns.
Congratulations to the Midget Minor AA team, sponsored by Pinnacle Chrysler for winning the Riverside Christmas Tournament; congrats to Head Coach Steve Boughner, his staff & all the players. Also the Bantam AA team sponsored by Coulson Design Build Inc. were finalists again for the second tournament this year; congrats to Head Coach George Voros, his staff and all the players.
I am looking forward to lots of hockey, good competition and the players having fun!
