We have now started our Novice 2008 – 2009 Hockey season. The time trials and scrimmages are behind us. The Novice coaches will be contacting parents Tuesday or Wednesday evening the week of September 22, 2008 with practice and game times.

Select Seven Tryouts Tryouts for the Select Seven team are on the dates listed below. The Head Coach for the team is Carl Olender. Players eligible for the team have to be born in 2001. Friday, November 21st, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Adie Knox Arena There is an $8.00 fee per tryout. A BIG thank you to all the volunteers that put in hours both on and off the these past three weekends. It was a big help and we could not have done it without you.
Your first team practices will start Saturday September 27th and the first game will be Sunday September 28th. It will not be perfect, things will be missed – but remember, we are all volunteers, and don’t sweat the small stuff we are here to have fun and learn this great Canadian Game.
Do not adjust the jerseys in anyway when you get them. We may have to make a couple of slight changes to the teams over the course of the next 2 weeks to adjust for balance on teams. We will let you know when you can alter them if they are too big.

We still require Convenors for our Novice Major Tier 2 Division, Please e-mail myself or Mike Olar to help out we must have these in place or we cannot run the division.
The Tykes Program will be starting the morning of Sunday September 27th this year at South Windsor Rink A. The first session is at 10:00 am and the second session is at 11:00 am. Jack Bailey our head coach and his Coaching staff will be contacting you this week to give you the session your child is in. They will hand out jerseys and socks and check you in at that time. Jack can be reached via e-mail at jbailey260@hotmail.com. We also need parent volunteers on the ice. Please contact Jack if you have not done so already to help out.
